What is a Quest?

A Quest is a real-world task someone posts when they need a hand - ordinary household cleaning, yard work such as weeds and leaves, loose-item moving help, furniture assembly, and friendly errands. The Poster describes the task and sets the reward. Questers who are interested answer the Call, the Poster picks their Quester, and the two agree the scope directly. SideQuests provides the technology and payment infrastructure.

How SideQuests Works

Interested Questers tell the Poster they want to help.
3. Pick Your Quester
The Poster chooses who they want.

Payments You Can Trust

Payments are processed by Stripe. When a poster creates a Quest, the card is authorized but not charged. The payment is captured after the poster approves the completed work. There is no automatic release: if the poster does not approve it, the payment stays outstanding and the card authorization may expire. Questers keep 100% of the Quest price.

Earn XP, Build Reputation, Level Up

Questers earn XP for every completed Quest, unlock badges, climb city and regional leaderboards, and build reputation over time. Posters see the same facts - completed Quests, ratings, and identity checks - before someone starts work.

Browse Quests by city and category, or explore the live map. Exact locations are only revealed after a Quester is approved - the search and map experience uses an approximate city-level location to protect everyone's privacy.
